We received the following regarding hand-quilting classes to be held in Yarmouth, Maine. If you are interested please see the email and links below:
Dear Local and Near-by Quilt Guilds!
We are a new small contemporary quilt shop/general store in Yarmouth, ME that sells handmade quilts, a small selection of fabric and notions and lots of handmade gifts, in other words, a little bit of everything!
We also are incredibly excited to offer a large array of classes in our beautiful space in a historic brick building in downtown Yarmouth. We are finishing up our summer schedule and will soon be filling up the fall calendar. I am reaching out today because we have an amazing class coming up this weekend, still with lots of seats available, so we hope you may grab a friend and join us! We are hosting Riane Morrison for two classes, big stitch hand quilting 101 and designing hand quilting motifs. Riane is coming in all the way from CO where she works for the amazing Quilt Folk Magazine and previously for the Modern Quilt Guild. so, in addition to her teaching, I’m sure it will be a lovely day of quilty conversations!
If you wouldn’t mind circulating the class to your guild members, I would really appreciate it! I am attaching the info to both classes below as well as the link to sign up and Riane’s bio.
If you are interested in staying in the loop on our new products, fabrics and classes, you can join our mailing list by scrolling to the bottom of our home page at www.smithsgeneral.com
Thank you in advance for your time!

Riane Menardi Morrison is a modern quilter making minimal quilts for the modern home. She learned to quilt in 2011 from her grandmother, and once she found the right materials (linen, cotton, and wool), she fell in love and never looked back.
